{"id":725,"date":"2017-02-19T07:06:51","date_gmt":"2017-02-19T07:06:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/192.168.1.11\/pizza\/"},"modified":"2017-02-19T07:06:51","modified_gmt":"2017-02-19T07:06:51","slug":"pizza","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes.eliteelise.com\/index.php\/2017\/02\/19\/pizza\/","title":{"rendered":"Pizza"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"hrecipe h-recipe jetpack-recipe\" itemscope itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/Recipe\"><div class=\"jetpack-recipe-content\"><br \/>\n<div class=\"jetpack-recipe-notes\">Makes 2 14-inch pies<\/div><br \/>\n<div class=\"jetpack-recipe-ingredients\"><h4 class=\"jetpack-recipe-ingredients-title\">Ingredients<\/h4><ul>\n<p><strong>Dough:<\/strong><li class=\"jetpack-recipe-ingredient p-ingredient ingredient\" itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">1 c warm water<\/li><li class=\"jetpack-recipe-ingredient p-ingredient ingredient\" itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">1 1\/2 T sugar<\/li><li class=\"jetpack-recipe-ingredient p-ingredient ingredient\" itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">1 package (1\/4 oz) active dry yeast<\/li><li class=\"jetpack-recipe-ingredient p-ingredient ingredient\" itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">2 T olive oil<\/li><li class=\"jetpack-recipe-ingredient p-ingredient ingredient\" itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">3 c all-purpose flour<\/li><li class=\"jetpack-recipe-ingredient p-ingredient ingredient\" itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">1 t salt<\/li>\n<p>&nbsp;\n<p><strong>Sauce:<\/strong><li class=\"jetpack-recipe-ingredient p-ingredient ingredient\" itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">2\/3 c your favorite pizza sauce<\/li>\n<p>&nbsp;\n<p><strong>Cheese:<\/strong><li class=\"jetpack-recipe-ingredient p-ingredient ingredient\" itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">1 batch\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/recipesbyelise.wordpress.com\/2018\/02\/18\/vegan-mozzarella-for-pizza\/\">Vegan Mozzarella<\/a>\u00a0(or your favorite pizza cheese)<\/li>\n<p><\/ul><\/div><br \/>\n<div class=\"jetpack-recipe-directions e-instructions\"><h4 class=\"jetpack-recipe-directions-title\">Directions<\/h4>Whisk water, sugar, oil, and yeast together. Wait ~10 minutes for yeast to &#8220;proof&#8221; (foam). Meanwhile whisk dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.<\/p>\n<p>Pour foaming liquid mixture into dry ingredients. Mix together with a wooden spoon until everything mixes together, then knead for ~10 mins.<\/p>\n<p>Roll dough into a tight ball, cover with a thin film of oil, and place in a large oiled bowl. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise for ~1 hour.<\/p>\n<p>Dough should have doubled in size. Punch down and lightly knead for a minute (at this point you can freeze the dough and use later if you&#8217;d like). Put the lightly kneaded dough back in the bowl and let rest until stretchy again (for 10 mins &#8211; 2 hours).<\/p>\n<p>Preheat over to 500 degrees. Stretch the dough out evenly and place on an evenly floured pizza pan (cornmeal works well for flouring the pan).<\/p>\n<p>Spread a thin film of pizza sauce on the dough (~1\/3 c), then sprinkle toppings (depending on the toppings, you might want some to be cooked in advance). Don&#8217;t put the cheese on yet.<\/p>\n<p>Bake for ~5-8 minutes, until crust starts to rise (but not brown). Take out and quickly sprinkle the cheese on top (I recommend <a href=\"https:\/\/recipesbyelise.wordpress.com\/2018\/02\/18\/vegan-mozzarella-for-pizza\/\">Vegan Mozzarella<\/a>).
